Apolipoprotein E (ApoE) is a gene that contributes to an individual’s ability to remove mercury and other heavy metals from the human body, transports lipoproteins to the liver, and is predictive in the early onset of Alzheimer’s. There are 3 genetic variants for ApoE: 2, 3, and 4. By utilizing cheek cells as the sample, this test detects Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms (SNPs) to ascertain the patient’s ApoE genotypic profile, in a non-invasive manner.

The optimal genotype for removing mercury is ApoE 2/2, whereas ApoE 3/3 is the most prevalent in the human population, and the most detrimental is ApoE 4/4. Research shows that people with ApoE 2 are at high risk for heart attack due to hyperlipidemia, however, people with harmful forms of the ApoE gene (genotype 3/4, 4/4) have up to 12 times the risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease compared with those who have other variations (2/2, 2/3, 3/3) of the gene.

Oral cells allow us to determine your ability to detoxify mercury, Alzheimer’s susceptibility, and other autoimmune/neurological diseases. The DNA ConneXions® ApoE Genotype test will determine what ApoE (Apolipoprotein-E) genotype you are (2/2, 2/3, 2/4, 3/3, 3/4, 4/4).

This test utilizes the DNA ConneXions® Super Floss sampling method.

The DNA ConneXions® Lyme Disease Test identifies four different genes that are found in Borrelia burgdorferi, the most common cause of Lyme disease in the United States, and ten common Lyme disease vector born co-infectors and other organisms including Borrelia recurrentis, Borrelia miyamotoi, Babesia microti, Babesia divergens, Babesia duncani, Bartonella bacilliformis, Ehrlichia chaffeensis, Bartonella henselae, Bartonella quintana, and Anaplasma phagocytophilum.

Positive detection of Lyme co-infectors indicates likely infection with the Lyme spirochete as well.

A positive PCR result from the DNA ConneXions® Lyme Disease Test indicates the presence of DNA from B. burgdorferi and/or other co-infectors. A negative result does not prove a patient is not infected with a tick-borne infection, rather it indicates the absence of detectable Lyme and/or other tick borne co-infections. A patient’s ability to fight the disease, stage of infection, and timing of courses of antibiotics are only some of the factors that may affect the detectability of the spirochetes DNA.

The DNA ConneXions® Lyme Disease Test detects the causative agent of Lyme Disease, Borrelia burgdorferi, in addition to 10 other common vector borne pathogens.

What sets DNA ConneXions® Lyme Disease test apart from the other tests on the market?

The DNA ConneXions® assay is a direct testing method designed to detect the DNA of the causative organism(s) itself. Conversely, an immunological based assay is an indirect testing method designed to detect antibodies produced in response to the infection.

Our direct testing method is not dependent on the stage of infection or the patient’s immunological response. 


The two samples must be returned together in order to receive the discounted price. Important Note Regarding All Tests: In order to return valid test results, it’s critical that directions are followed exactly as they are provided. Failure to do so may yield inaccurate results and a new test will have to be completed. Please be advised that the cost of a new test kit is $50.
